HIROTSU BIO SCIENCE Inc. exhibited at Well-Being Festa 2025, held at the Shonan Health Innovation Park, where our R&D Center is located. At our booth, we introduced the research and development of the N-NOSE® nematode cancer test, along with our latest initiatives. From the moment the venue opened, many visitors stopped by, sharing comments such as “I’ve been curious about this for a long time,” and “I feel reassured after hearing the explanation directly.” The booth remained lively throughout the day.
Our Research and Development team presented the concept behind the N-NOSE® test and its nematode-based behavioral analysis in a clear and accessible manner. Visitors had the opportunity to observe nematodes through a stereoscope, review informational materials, and gain real-time, behind-the-scenes insights into the test’s development, ongoing improvements, and future prospects through Q&A sessions. During peak periods, lines formed at the booth, and some visitors even purchased test kits on-site. Many attendees also received coupon codes.
Mayor Tsuneo Suzuki of Fujisawa City also visited our booth. We exchanged views regarding our research and development activities and opportunities for local utilization. In Fujisawa City, N-NOSE® is offered as a hometown tax return gift. During the visit, we provided updates on our latest research progress, the expansion of sample submission options, and initiatives for recurrence monitoring—all shared in a friendly and constructive atmosphere. We reaffirmed our commitment to contributing to the health of the local community.
In addition to local residents, many stakeholders from the policy and industrial sectors visited our booth. We were able to exchange information on the social implementation and future potential of N-NOSE®, leading to positive connections that may develop into future collaborations.
One of the topics that generated the most questions was our new sample submission option, the “Postal Submission Service.” Users simply collect a urine sample at home, place it in the designated container and envelope following the enclosed instructions, and drop it into a mailbox. Visitors commented, “It’s great that I can send it without worrying about the time,” and “This seems easy to keep up with.” For details on usage and handling, please refer to our official release and product page: https://hbio.jp/news/2025/08/22/20250822/
HIROTSU BIO SCIENCE Inc. will continue to drive innovation through research and development, evolving low-burden cancer testing and contributing to health and well-being from our local communities to the world.
