Starting a Joint Research on Cancer Screening Using “N-NOSE” with Hanoi Medical University and TH Group

HIROTSU BIO SCIENCE INC. (Head Office: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; Representative; Takaaki Hirotsu (Hereinafter referred to as “HIROTSU”), has signed on 26 September 2024, a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Hanoi Medical University and TH Group (the biggest dairy manufacturer in Vietnam) for joint research on cancer screening using “N-NOSE”.
At the signing ceremony held in Hanoi, Vietnam, on 26 September 2024, Madam Thai Huong, Chairwoman of TH Group’s Strategic Council, the Rector of Hanoi Medical University, along with the Vice Minister of the Ministry of Health of Vietnam, and other high-ranking government officials were present. The event was widely covered by numerous media outlets in Vietnam. Going forward, two clinical studies using “N-NOSE” will commence at Hanoi Medical University.
This research project will conduct “N-NOSE” primary screening on 500 samples and “N-NOSE plus” liver tests on 200 samples. This initiative has full support from the Ministry of Health of Vietnam, and preparations for the study are underway while awaiting approval from the ethics committee.
The signing of this MOU is expected to significantly impact the early detection of cancer in Vietnam.
