N-NOSE Pet Technology Receives High Praise at AABE2024 Conference, the 29th Biennial Conference of the Asian Society for Biological Education

2024.10.17

AABE2024 (The 29th Biennial Conference of the Asian Association for Biological Education) was held at Ehime University, Matsuyama, Japan, from October 12th (Sat.) to 14th (Mon), 2024, under the theme “Prospects for Global Well-Being: Biology Education in Cross-Curricular Learning”. Many domestic and international researchers and educators in the field of biology gathered to present their research from a variety of perspectives.

In a presentation titled “Using C. elegans for Early Detection of Cancer in Dogs and Cats,” our scientist Umbhorn Ungkulpasvich presented on the basic science of nematodes neurobiology and behavioral assay, the performance of N-NOSE in humans and pets, and the importance of educating the younger generation about early detection of cancer and other diseases.

We received a great deal of positive feedback, high evaluations, and interest from both domestic and international researchers and participants regarding the use of nematodes for cancer screening, the potential of N-NOSE to significantly change the medical industry, and its overall impact. This was an ideal venue for our presentation, as it raised awareness of the potential for early cancer detection technology in both pets and humans, explored opportunities for future research collaboration, and could positively influence the future direction of biology.

We remain committed to research and development to protect the health and future security of people around the world.

The said Council (AABE) is a non-profit academic organization with prestigious meetings in the field of biology education. It was established in 1966 to improve biology education and promote research in Asia, hold biennial international conferences, and establish a central organization and liaison network for the exchange of teaching materials, journals, research papers, experts, and teachers in the biological sciences. It has become a platform for renowned researchers and educators from Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, the Philippines, Indonesia, India, Australia, and other countries to share their cutting-edge research and initiatives.
