This visit was held on Tuesday, May 21 2024, with the aim of exploring the business potential of Professor Takaaki Hirotsu’s early cancer detection technology, at Hirotsu Bio Science Inc. Tokyo, Japan.
PT Jaya Prima Alkatra held a direct meeting with Professor Takaaki Hirotsu, CEO and developer of HIROTSU BIO SCIENCE INC., along with the overseas business team.
The meeting focused on several possible N-NOSE tests in Indonesia.
N-Nose with a small amount of urine can detect various types of cancer early. There are 15 types of cancer that can be detected, including oral cavity/pharyngeal cancer, esophageal cancer, lung cancer, breast cancer, stomach cancer, liver cancer, pancreatic cancer, gall bladder cancer, bile duct cancer, colorectal cancer, kidney cancer. , bladder cancer, ovarian cancer, including uterine cancer and prostate cancer.
This test is considered easy, painless and cost-effective, so it can be widely applied. N-Nose was invented by Professor Takaaki Hirotsu. The N-Nose test has the potential to be a new option for early detection (screening) of cancer in humans.
During the visit, both parties discussed various aspects needed to realize this cooperation, including legislation, licensing, business schemes, business models, logistics and marketing strategies. There are also plans to conduct research related to N-Nose technology in Indonesia. The plan also includes sending frozen samples to Japan for trials.
In the future, PT Jaya Prima Alkatra and HIROTSU BIO SCIENCE INC. will hold further discussions between each company, regarding the follow-up to N-NOSE Technology. Especially to apply this early cancer detection technology which might be useful in Indonesia. It is believed that this optimistic step can develop new business opportunities.
